This is part of the work done at Tequila Works for an unreleased project.
As enviroment artist, part of my job consisted of creating buildings sets like some of those shown here.
There are very low poly models and its realization was very quick and easy with tiles, trims and custom normals. The idea was to have the possibility to create variations quickly, especially for the more generic models, by changing materials and/or tinting them. We also had a trim layout established so that we could assign a new mat without rescaling the UVs. Also we could simple move the UVs to another fragment of the texture and generate quickly a variation or new set.
I was also responsible for reviewing existing sets, optimizing geometries and number of materials as well as creating the missing variations.
